Do you have a car or other vehicle you would like to get rid of? Would you like to get a tax deduction for donating the vehicle to a charity? Eliminate the bother of repairing or selling an unwanted vehicle and support Karis Community at the same time!
Karis Community is now partnering with Cars For Charity, a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to accept donations of unwanted cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats and recreational vehicles and turn them into cash donations. Cars for Charity handles the donations and Karis Community receives 100% of the net profit when the vehicle is auctioned. Karis Community acknowledges your gift in the same way we acknowledge all donations.
Cars for Charity makes the process of donating painless for the donor. All you have to do is fill out a one-page Donor Form designating Karis Community as the nonprofit, provide a title, and remove the license plates and place the keys in glove box of the car.
Cars For Charity does the rest. A tow truck will arrive within four days to pick up your vehicle and leave a receipt for your records. Cars For Charity will send you a letter if your car sells for more than $500, in accordance with current tax law.
